Sheepshead Bay's premier culinary event, A TASTE OF SHEEPSHEAD BAY, will return again for the third straight year on January 23rd, 2014
Hailed as "the biggest tasting this side of the East River," the event has drawn hundreds of locals eager to taste menu items from as many as 20 of the neighborhood's best restaurants, bars, bakeries and cafes for one low price.
Sponsored by il Fornetto and set at the waterfront venue of Knights of Columbus (3000 Emmons Avenue), doors will open at 7:00 p.m., enticing patrons with a roomful of smells and flavors as eateries  ranging from Uzbeki and Turkish food to American and Latin fare  begin doling out scrumptious platefuls of goodness.
The event also brings in a bevy of local politicians and the city's leading food reviewers as they discover the best of the best of this far-flung corner of Brooklyn.
A fully stocked cash bar will be open. Live music will be playing.
Limited valet parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets purchased online are $30. Admission at the door is $35.
